It's Menu Planning Monday time....even though it's Saturday! I'm trying to get ahead of the game this week. I was so busy with studying last week that I wasn't able to make up my menu. It was kind of a food free-for-all this past week and the kids both liked and disliked it. So, I went ahead and worked on my menu for this coming week and made up my grocery list. I usually go grocery shopping on Mondays, but I'm actually going tomorrow.
Here's the menu:
Monday 03/08/2010:
Breakfast: Blueberry oatmeal pancakes, bacon, applesauce
Lunch: Beanie Weenie, peas, mixed fruit
Dinner: Roast, potatoes, carrots, celery
Snack: Apple slices, peanut butter, animal crackers
Tuesday 03/09/2010:
Breakfast: Whole-wheat bagel, cream cheese, pears
Lunch: Mini cheeseburgers, potato salad, orange slices
Dinner: Chicken Alfredo, broccoli, French bread
Snack: Carrots/Celery, ranch dressing, cheese crackers
Wednesday 03/10/2010:
Breakfast: Cereal, banana, toast with peanut butter
Lunch: Chicken sandwiches, corn casserole, kiwi
Dinner: Spaghetti, salad, garlic toast
Snack: Apple Crisp, mixed fruit
Thursday 03/11/2010:
Breakfast: Amish Baked Oatmeal, grapes
Lunch: PB&J on wheat bagel, string cheese, carrot, pears
Dinner: Pork Chops, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad
Snack: Yogurt with granola, Fig Newtons
Friday 03/12/2010:
Breakfast: Breakfast bar, toast with jelly, orange slices
Lunch: Fish sticks, fries, celery, grapes
Dinner: Meatloaf, potatoes, macaroni and cheese, marinated cucumbers
Snack: Chex Mix, pudding, kiwi
Saturday 03/13/2010:
Breakfast: Biscuits w/jelly, gravy, ham, eggs, apple slices
Lunch: Grilled cheese, tomato soup, peaches
Dinner: Pinto beans, cornbread
Snack: Carrots/broccoli, ranch dressing, cheese crackers
Sunday 03/14/2010:
Breakfast: Cinnamon rolls, bananas, peaches
Lunch: Chicken tenders, mixed veggies, tater tots
Dinner: Stuffed peppers, pasta salad, zucchini pancakes
Snack: Jello, graham crackers, fruit of choice

Like your planned menu. It's got the all around food groups. Will have to try some of these.
